Equistone hires MML's Baker
Equistone Partners Europe has added MML Capital Partners investment manager Edward Baker to its London-based investment team.
In his new role, Baker will be responsible for expanding Equistone's UK portfolio and will draw on experience in deal origination and execution from his time at MML.
Baker was an investment manager at lower-mid-market private equity firm MML for four years prior to joining Equistone. He was responsible for originating and executing majority and minority buyouts across a range of sectors, as well as portfolio management. Before MML, Baker spent six years at KPMG and is a qualified chartered accountant.
Baker's appointment follows the hiring of Moritz Treude as associate in Munich and Sebastian Leusch as investment director in Manchester.
