Goodwin promotes Miranda to partner
Law firm Goodwin has promoted Michael Miranda to partner in its London-based private equity team.
Miranda is promoted from his role as associate after three years with the firm. Prior to joining Goodwin, he spent seven years at King & Wood Mallesons, leaving his role as managing associate in 2015.
Miranda specialises in complex domestic and cross-border transactions, working on both buy-side and sell-side mandates including leveraged buyouts, venture capital funding rounds, minority investments, management incentive schemes and corporate restructurings. He has worked on transactions in sectors including financial services, technology, healthcare, retail, industrials and business services.
Goodwin's latest promotion in its private equity and funds practice comes a year after it promoted Alexandrine Armstrong-Cerfontaine to partner, citing increased demand for Luxembourg-related advice.
