Pantheon opens Dublin office
Asset manager Pantheon has opened a new office in Ireland, with a five-strong team led by Stephen Branagan.
Pantheon Ireland is authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland as an EU AIFM to conduct regulated activities within the EU on behalf of Pantheon. The firm stated its Dublin office is now fully operational, and is ready to act as an EU AIFM and investment manager for its Luxembourg-domiciled funds and single-investor vehicles.
The Dublin office is staffed by five professionals, led by Stephen Branagan, the CEO of Pantheon Ireland. The team also comprises Naomi Daly, the non-executive chair of Pantheon Ireland; compliance head Maeve Kelly; operational risk manager and chief risk officer Laura Kilduff; and senior fund accountant Sinead McQuaid.
Pantheon follows in the footsteps of fellow funds-of-funds manager HarbourVest; the $50bn asset manager announced in October that it will open an office in Dublin to minimise the impact of Brexit. HarbourVest said it will open the office once it receives its Irish AIFM licence.
