Bayside promotes Scotland to co-head of special situations debt
Bayside Capital has promoted Andrew Scotland to co-head of special situations debt in Europe.
Scotland will take his position alongside Duncan Priston, Bayside's co-head and managing director.
Scotland joined Bayside in 2013 as a principal and was promoted to the position of managing director in 2015. He previously worked as a managing director in RBS's special situations group, where he focused on European distressed investments. Prior to that, he held positions at ABN Amro, Citigroup and Credit Suisse.
Bayside Capital is the special situations affiliate of HIG Capital. Focused on mid-market companies, the firm invests across several segments of the primary and secondary debt capital markets.
