Greenhill hires Silverfleet's Harrison
Investment bank Greenhill & Co has hired Andrew Harrison as managing director and head of EMEA primary capital; he joins from his position as head of investor relations at mid-market GP Silverfleet Capital.
Harrison joined Greenhill in September 2021, having left Silverfleet in H1 2021. In his new role, he will advise Greenhill clients on capital raising across funds, co-investments, direct equity and sponsor led-transactions.
Harrison joined Silverfleet in 2017, prior to which he spent 15 years in the private fund group of Credit Suisse, advising sponsors on fundraising.
Silverfleet confirmed to Unquote in July 2021 that it no longer planned to raise its third institutional fund, as reported. The GP now expects to complete further follow-on investments and realisations in its existing portfolio.
