NorthEdge hires Jones as investment executive

UK-based GP NorthEdge Capital has appointed Harry Jones as an investment executive in its Manchester office.
Jones started his new role in early September, and will work on investment opportunities across the north-west of England.
He joins from Deloitte, where he qualified as a chartered accountant within the corporate finance team, working across disposals, management buyouts, mergers and acquisitions. In August, he notably advised Palatine Private Equity on the sale of Wealth at Work to Equistone for £50m.
Also in August, NorthEdge appointed Phoenix Equity Partners' John Rastrick as a partner in its Leeds office. As of that date, the GP had invested £140m from its maiden vehicle, which held a final close on its £225m hard-cap in April 2013.
