
Atlas and Octopus inject £3.25m in Zoopla
Atlas Venture and Octopus Investments have provided £3.25m of new funding in property website Zoopla.co.uk.
The transaction was financed with £1.75m equity provided by the investors and a £1.5m debt facility from Silicon Valley Bank. Atlas and Octopus first backed the company in January 2009 with a £3.75m investment.
Zoopla was launched in 2008 and has quickly grown to attract more than five million visitors each month. The recent investment will support further marketing for the company.
