SVB makes two senior hires for PE team
Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) has appointed a new director and new relationship manager for its UK private equity services group.
Allan Majotra will join SVB as director of the division. He has previously been active in the Spanish private equity industry, investing in Europe, Latin America and India, primarily focusing on TMT and energy. Prior to that, Majotra was director of business development and marketing at eBay and vice president in Union Bank's Specialised Industries Group in Los Angeles.
Namita Anand is joining SVB's London team from the bank's Palo Alto office, where she was a relationship manager with the accelerator team, providing funding for early-stage venture-backed businesses. She has been with SVB for more than five years. Prior to that she worked in relationship management for Union Bank Private Banking.
Both Majotra and Anand will be based in the bank's London office, led by Phil Cox, head of EMEA, India and Pakistan and president of the UK branch.
