Ventech invest €2.1m in Muzicall
French investor Ventech has invested €2.1m in Muzicall, ringback tone (RBT) service provider, adding to the €9m sound round of financing completed in November 2009.
The previous investment rounded included Orkos Capital, Veddis Ventures and GP Bullhound who invested alongside existing backers Blue Run Ventures and Thule Investments which has invested £1.5m in November 2008.
The new funding will be used to help the company provide their RBT offer to the European market.

Muzicall estimates to have around three million mobile users as ringback tone customers by the end of 2010 and above 12 million ringback tone users by the end of 2013. The average revenue per ringback tone customer is estimated to be €10. The company was founded in 2004.
