
SVB appoints new managing director

Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) has appointed Wibke Pendse as managing director of private equity finance and banking in the UK.
Pendse was previously at SVB's headquarters in California, working as managing director of private equity and venture capital services. Her new role will see her offer a range of banking and financial services to private equity and venture capital firms.
Prior to joining SVB in 2010, Pendse was vice president of venture capital services at Square 1 Bank and assistant vice president of equity fund services at Comerica Bank in the US.
SVB's private equity finance and banking team works with 1,200 firms in the US, Europe and Asia, including Scottish Equity Partners, Accel, KKR and SilverLake Partners.
