Intel Capital leads $12m round in Altobridge
Intel Capital has lead a $12m series-C funding round in wireless network solutions provider Altobridge.
The International Finance Corporation also committed to this round.
The new capiltal will be used to continue the roll-out of the company's wireless communication solution and commercialise its mobile broadband solution.
Headquartered in the Kerry Technology Park, Ireland, Altobridge provides lower capital and operating cost options for the delivery of voice and mobile broadband services. Currently, the company services more than 20 countries worldwide and in addition to its Ireland headquarters, has offices in Malaysia, Indonesia, China and the US covering sales, R&D, customer support and manufacturing.
