Inflexion bolsters value creation team with new director

Mid-market house Inflexion has strengthened its value creation team with the hire of new director Tom Green from Cinven portfolio company CPA Global.
As part of his appointment, Green will become a value enhancement director at Inflexion's dedicated unit. Operating via the GP's London headquarters and additional offices in Brazil, India and China, the team features fellow director Jon Andrew, who was appointed to the role in July 2014.
Green's hire marks his return to the private equity industry after a three-year stint at corporate CPA Global. His career began at advisory firm Capgemini, where he was a consultant between 2006-2008. He then joined Deloitte's corporate finance unit, which employed him successively as manager and assistant director.
In January 2013, he was hired as corporate development director and executive assistant to CPA Global CEO Peter Sewell. The company, a British intellectual property specialist, has been owned by majority shareholder Cinven since a $1bn SBO in January 2012.
Green's appointment represents Inflexion's first hire so far in 2016 and pushes headcount at its investment team past the 30 mark.
In July 2015, the mid-market GP promoted directors Catherine Richards, Christian Hamilton, Flor Kassai, Gareth Healy, John Harper and Stuart Robinson to partner as it hired new director Andrew Priest. This was followed by the appointment of George Collier, John Cordrey and Edward Lynch as investment executives in September 2015.
