Aztec appoints Richard Hills as non-executive chairman

Fund administration firm Aztec has appointed former non-executive director Richard Hills as non-executive chairman.
Hills will replace John Boothman, who chaired Aztec for 10 years. He has worked as non-executive director at Aztec since 2003.
Moreover, Hills is the director of three UK listed investment trusts and a shale gas exploration company.
Hills started his career by taking on various directorship roles at Henderson Administration. He then moved on to Aberdeen Trust, where he worked as head of the investment committee and head of UK equities. After this, Hills founded Argyll Investment Management.
This is the second major management change for Aztec in a month, after John Gavey was appointed new COO a couple of weeks ago.
