Sovereign Capital funds fifth add-on for NFA Partnerships
Buy-and-build specialist Sovereign Capital has committed new equity to fund a fifth add-on acquisition for its portfolio firm National Fostering Agency Partnerships (NFAP).
The acquisition of Leicestershire-based Jay Fostering, which was also supported by new debt facilities from Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets Acquisition Finance, adds another two offices to NFA's national network of 13 centres. It will significantly increase the group's coverage in the Midlands.
Sovereign Capital originally backed the buyout of NFA in December 2006 for an undisclosed sum. The business made its first bolt-on acquisition in March 2008 via the purchase of The Foster Care Agency, and completed a trio of acquisitions the following year (Children First Fostering Agency Ltd, Alliance Foster Care Limited and Alpha Plus Fostering Ltd).
