Octopus invests £1.25m in ClearlySo
Octopus has led a ТЃ1.25m growth funding round for impact investment bank ClearlySo in return for a 12.3% stake in the company.
The transaction saw Octopus becoming the largest single institutional investor in the business, with Octopus co-founder Chris Hulatt joining the board as non-executive director.
Also participating in the funding round were seven existing investors including Big Society Capital, as well as eight new angel investors.

ClearlySo is a European impact investment bank that considers social, ethical and/or environmental impact alongside risk and return.
The organisation was founded in 2008 and has carried out 100 transactions, investing £100m. ClearlySo is headquartered in London.
