The funding round coincides with the launch of Cronycle's platform on the iOS and Android mobile operating systems.
The transaction marks the VC's 10th investment since its inception in 2012.
Earlier this year, the firm exited Stupeflix, the developer of cloud-based video editing platform Replay, to trade buyer GoPro.
Company
Founded in 2003, London-based Cronycle develops a news and social media aggregation platform for businesses. It allows users to collate feeds onto a shared portal, which can then be annotated collaboratively.
