
NVM injects £4m into Customs Connect
NVM Private Equity has invested £4m in UK-based customs advisory business Customs Connect.
NVM said in a statement it believed the company was well positioned for organic growth in light of the potential duty implications of the UK's forthcoming departure from the European Union. Customs Connect has plans to expand its operations across mainland Europe.
As part of the deal, the company has appointed former PwC managing partner John Barnsley as chairperson.

Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Salford, near Manchester, Customs Connect is a customs advisory business. It offers guidance on factors such as duty suspension, tariff classification, customs warehousing and customs duty reliefs.
The business has additional UK offices in Worcester and Leatherhead, Surrey.
