NVM invests £2m in Channel Mum
NVM Private Equity has invested £2m of growth capital in online parental video-blogging network Channel Mum.
The fresh capital will enable Channel Mum to invest in new programming and marketing activity.
The business, which is led by Siobhan Freegard, co-founder of parenting website Netmums, has previously received seed funding from UK broadcaster ITV.
The latest investment round marks NVM’s fourth deal in Q3 2016. Earlier in September, the firm invested £4m in UK-based customs advisory business Customs Connect.
Company
Founded in 2015 and headquartered in London, Channel Mum is an online video-blogging network for parents. The company uses YouTube to upload videos from both bloggers and companies and embeds a selection in its own online site.
