
Northstar et al. inject £1.1m into Screach
Northstar Ventures, Hotspur Capital, Max Capital Partners and Angel CoFund have taken part in a £1.1m funding round for IT and video marketing business Screach.
The fresh capital will enable Screach to expand its range of services, which currently focus on the UK pub sector, into new segments including gaming, gambling and retail.
As part of the deal, James Dickson – formerly marketing and sales director at Heineken and executive chair at Vianet – will join the business as chairperson.
Northern-England-focused angel network Northern Growth Network also took part in the round.

Founded in 2010, Newcastle-headquartered Screach is an IT and marketing business serving the pub industry. The company installs enterprise-level wifi and provides video content management systems. The latter allow venues to manage the display of broadcast television programmes, bespoke advertising and other marketing material across multiple screens.
