
Woodford in €16m series-B round for Eve Sleep
Woodford Investment Management has led a €8m series-B extension for London-based mattress producer Eve Sleep.
The startup held a first closing in July this year, when it raised the initial €8m. The round was then led by DN Capital and Octopus Ventures.
The funding for the startup, which operates in both the UK and Germany, will be used for German television advertisement and an expansion to the Netherlands, Italy, Poland, Austria and Switzerland. The startup targets a turnover of €45.5m for the next financial year.
Previous funding
Eve raised its initial €683,000 seed round from DN Capital and FJ Labs in May 2015. Octopus and angel investors added another €225,000 later on. The €3.5m series-A in November 2016 was also backed by DN and Octopus.
