LocalGlobe invests £2.4m in Show My Homework
London-based venture capital firm LocalGlobe has put £2.4m behind Show My Homework, a homework monitoring platform.
Show My Homework is run by education technology firm Satchel, which has offices in Stratford.
LocalGlobe founding partner Robin Klein said he hopes the cash injection "will allow the firm to begin selling into international markets extending beyond its UK heartland".
Company
Show My Homework is one of the first products from Satchel, an education technology firm set up in 2011.
It currently employs around 80 people at its offices in Straftord and claims to supply half of the secondary schools in London. The company plans to use the funds for expansion in Dubai, as well as for product development.
