
Inflexion-backed Cablecom acquires WarwickNet
Inflexion Private Equity portfolio company Cablecom has bolted on UK-based internet service provider WarwickNet.
The acquisition comes seven months after Cablecom acquired Birmingham-based student broadband, TV and telephony business Gilde.
Inflexion acquired Cablecom from Livingbridge (then known as Isis Equity Partners) in October 2013. At the time, the vendor stated the business had a customer base of 250,000, which has since increased to 350,000, according to a statement issued by Inflexion.

Founded in 2008, Coventry-based WarwickNet is a business-to-business internet service provider. The company generated a turnover of £3.5m in the year ending March 2016, according to publicly available records, with an operating profit of £240,000.
