Primary Capital's Maru acquires Usurv
Primary Capital Partners-backed insight and advisory services provider Maru Group has acquired Kent-based market research business Usurv.
The deal will see Usurv rebranded to Maru/Usurv and marks the third add-on acquisition by Maru since the GP provided a £45m growth capital injection in February 2016, having acquired eDigitalResearch and North American VCR&C in the past year.
Usurv's founders Guy Potter and Martin Bysh will remain with the company's management team to oversee the integration and continued development within the Maru group, according to a company statement.
In 2016, Maru generated revenues of $50m and employed a staff of 400, according to the company.
