BGF injects £3m into Prezola
Business Growth Fund (BGF) has invested £3m in UK-based online wedding gift-list platform Prezola.
The fresh funding will enable the company to invest in its mobile platform and comes a year after it acquired wedding planning platform GettingMarried.co.uk.
As part of the deal, David Kelly – chairperson at Love Home Swap and non-executive director at Holiday Extras, The Gym Group and On the Beach – will take a seat on the Prezola board.
BGF has previously invested in wedding-related companies, making an £8.5m investment in January 2014 in ACS Clothing and its software offering Xedo Software – the latter of which focuses on products for the wedding market.
