
NVM injects £3m into Knowledgemotion
NVM Private Equity has backed London-based video hosting firm Knowledgemotion with a £3m investment.
The investment is NVM's third this year, with all its deals focused on UK companies. It invests using capital sourced from its series of venture capital trusts.
It is the second investment NVM has made in video-based technology firms, having also put £2m behind Channel Mum, an online video blog network for parents, in 2016.
Company
Founded in 2013, Knowledgemotion has developed Boclips, a video platform designed for the education sector. The platform hosts 40 content producers including the BBC, Getty Images, PBS, Bloomberg and Associated Press, providing access to 2 million video clips. The firm has around 15 staff.
