Mayfair invest in marketing company SuperAwesome
Mayfair Equity Partners has purchased a minority stake in children's digital media company SuperAwesome.
The capital will be used to grow the company internationally, including entry into new markets, expanding in existing markets and developing its services. The growth of the business has been supported by trends in under-13 digital media consumption and shifting marketing spend to digital channels and social media, the GP said in a statement.
The deal is the seventh for Mayfair’s £400m maiden fund, which held its final close last year. It is now deployed at more than 50%.
Company
Established in 2013, SuperAwesome is headquartered in London with offices in New York, Los Angeles, Singapore and Sydney, employing 80 staff. Its product set spans digital advertising, content creation and the provision of safe social media.
According to a statement, the company has been growing at 100% per annum in recent years.
