Blackstone-backed Cloudreach bolts on Cloudamize
Blackstone portfolio company Cloudreach, a UK-based cloud computing service, has acquired US-based IT data analytics and migration platform Cloudamize.
The deal is the first bolt-on investment by Cloudreach under Blackstone's tenure and comes five months after the GP acquired a majority stake in the company.
Following the deal, the consolidated group will invest in product development.
The merger of the two companies will create a business with operations across eight countries. It will also broaden the range of services currently available to Cloudreach clients.
