Calculus leads £3.5m funding round for Cornerstone
Calculus Capital has led a ТЃ3.5m funding round for London-based online shaving supplier Cornerstone.
Besides UK-based venture firm Calculus Capital, angel investors also took part in the funding round – these include Quidco CEO Andy Oldham, ex-Jack Wills chair Will Hobhouse, Charles Tyrwhitt chair Nick Wheeler and Joe Middleton, the former president of Levi Jeans.
Previous funding
Cornerstone received £991,000 of seed funding from crowdfunding platform Crowdcube in July 2015. According to Crunchbase, the company subsequently received £1.5m in funding in April 2016 and a further £1.65m from JXC Ventures in November that same year.

Founded in 2014 in London, Cornerstone is a delivery service of German-engineered razor blades and British-made skincare shaving supplies for men. It operates via an online subscription system and serves around 140,000 customers in the UK.
