Calculus invests £2m in Origin Broadband
Calculus Capital has invested ТЃ2m in UK-based fibre-optic broadband provider Origin Broadband.
The deal comes just seven months after the firm provided Origin with £3m in order to fund a recruitment drive and the development of its network. According to a statement, the business has exceeded its customer acquisitions target by 300% during that time and more than doubled its headcount.
The fresh funding will be used to fund the further expansion of the company's team and network. It will also enable Origin, which has so far focused on residential clients, to increase its focus on the acquisition of SME clients.

Calculus invested £3m in Origin in January 2017.
