Oak Hill-backed Pulsant bolts on LayerV
Oak Hill Capital Partners portfolio company Pulsant has acquired UK-based IT consultancy LayerV.
The deal comes a year after the business bolted on Reading-based Onyx Group and three years after Oak Hill acquired Pulsant for a reported £200m from Bridgepoint Development Capital.
The transaction will bolster Pulsant's intellectual property portfolio and is also intended to extent the range of cloud services it offers its clients, with a particular focus on compliance and security.
Oak Hill is invested in Pulsant via its third fund, a $3.8bn vehicle that held its final close in June 2009.
Company
Headquartered in Woking, Surrey, LayerV provides advice and migration services related to cloud-based IT infrastructure. Its clients predominantly operate in the public sector, retail, legal and financial services industries.
