
BGF's Solid Solutions acquires New Technology CadCam
Solid Solutions, a 3d design software developer and reseller backed by Business Growth Fund (BGF), has bolted on New Technology CadCam.
Since gaining support from BGF, Solid Solutions acquired Cadtek Systems in 2016 and now operates as a reseller of computer aided design (CAD) software with 12,500 customers, annual turnover of around £40m and 220 staff.
With the integration of New Technology CadCam, Solid Solutions will be able to expand its main product family on the UK computer design and education markets.
Solid Solutions raised £8m from BGF back in March 2016 in order to support its continued growth.

New Technology CadCam develops CAD and manufacturing software for engineering and product design purposes. It targets sectors such as industrial machinery, medical equipment development, electronics, logistics, consumer, energy and education. The company was founded in 1996 and is based in Haddenham.
