Draper Esprit, Touchstone in $24m round for Ieso
Draper Esprit and Touchstone Innovations have provided a $24m growth capital funding round for UK-based online behavioural health therapy platform Ieso Digital Health.
The fresh capital will enable the company to invest in product development and expand its presence in the UK and US markets. The business launched its product in the US market in 2016 and is in the process of securing new contracts with healthcare providers, according to a statement.
The transaction is Draper Esprit's second investment in the healthcare technology space in quick succession. In July, it co-led a $26.1m series-B round for Push Doctor, a provider of an online platform that connects patients with NHS-commissioned doctors, alongside Accelerated Digital Ventures.
Company
Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Swavesey, Cambridgeshire, Ieso is an online behavioural health therapy platform. It combines artificial intelligence with evidence-based cognitive behavioural therapy and allows specialists to provide therapy to patients via its written conversation platform.
