BGF invests £1.5m in NWC for Reflekt Cleaning acquisition
BGF has invested a further £1.5m in its portfolio company Nationwide Window Cleaning (NWC) to support the acquisition of Reflekt Cleaning Company.
The acquisition strengthens NWC's presence in the Midlands and complements the company's existing capabilities in high-level cleaning, dusting, duct cleaning, canopy and roof cleaning.
NWC reports revenue growth of 100% since BGF's original investment in 2014, from £7.5m in 2013 to £14m in 2016. The total number of employees is now 320, up from 140 in 2014.
NWC plans future acquisitions in the areas of abseil, pressure washing and high-level maintenance.
Previous funding
In October 2014, BGF invested £3m in NWC to allow the company to invest in new equipment and expand its abseil and other specialist cleaning teams.
Earlier this year, NWC bolstered its operations and customer-base in Scotland and London with the acquisition of the trade and assets of Superior Window Cleaning.
Company
Reflekt provides high-level cleaning to customers across the Midlands, including the BBC, RAF, Cadbury, Merck Sharpe & Dohme and Exxon Mobil. The company employs 17 people.
