
Calculus invests £2.2m in Every1Mobile
VCT and enterprise investment scheme fund manager Calculus Capital has invested £2.2m in Every1Mobile, a UK-headquartered mobile-enabled social impact organisation.
The fresh funding will enable Every1Mobile to expand its geographic remit and invest in product development.
The transaction comes one month after Calculus launched its £10m fundraising for its latest VCT. As of June 2017, the firm had £150m in funds under management.

Brighton-headquartered Every1Mobile designs, builds and runs digital social impact programmes across sub-Saharan Africa. It was founded in 2010 and provides mobile-enabled community management tools and online campaigns for corporate entities and international development agencies, with the aim of improving sexual health, digital and financial literacy, business skills, family planning, gender equality and nutrition. Every1Mobile has worked on projects in South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, Cote d'Ivoire, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Zambia and Rwanda.
