
DN Capital in $15m series-B for Hostmaker
DN Capital has taken part in a $15m series-B funding round for London-based Airbnb management company Hostmaker.
The round was led by Thailand-based property developer Sansiri and Hong Kong-based real estate investor Gaw Capital. Existing investors Ventech and DSGCP also took part in the financing.
Hostmaker will use the new capital to continue developing its pricing and operations software, as well as expanding into Asia.
Previous funding
DN Capital led a $2m seed round for Hostmaker in November 2015 with participation from Avala Capital and DSGCP.
The VC firm was joined by French VC Ventech in February 2017 to provide the company with a £5m series-A round.
Company
Founded in 2013 and headquartered in London, Hostmaker offers hospitality management services to hosts letting their property on Airbnb. Users can benefit from the services of housekeepers and concierges to make their properties more attractive. Hostmaker also helps hosts improve their listings in order to get more bookings.
The company claims to have carried out 150,000 services in Europe with a growth rate of 400% this year.
