Livingbridge's Broadstone makes double bolt-on
Livingbridge-backed Broadstone, a UK-based benefits and pensions consultancy, has acquired Mitchell Consulting Actuaries and 2020 Trustees.
Livingbridge did not provide any additional finance in order to support the acquisitions.
The bolt-ons will expand Broadstone's geographic footprint, with new locations in Manchester and Nottingham adding to its existing operations in Falkirk, London and Sheffield. It will also increase its overall headcount to around 170.
Following the deal, Mitchell Consulting CEO Nigel Jones will lead the consolidated consulting actuarial division of the wider Broadstone group.
The deal comes two years after Livingbridge acquired a majority stake in Broadstone from Oakley Capital.
