
Hg-backed Cogital buys Shelley Stock Hutter
Hg-backed Cogital Group has acquired accountancy and business advisory firm Shelley Stock Hutter for an undisclosed sum.
Cogital Group is a tax and advisory practice, created by Hg with the acquisition of Blick Rothenberg in August 2016.
Shelley Stock Hutter is the first acquisition under the Blick Rothenberg brand in its buy-and-build strategy, and strengthens the group's position in the owner-managed business sector.
The group consists of Azets Group in the Nordic region, and Baldwins Group and Blick Rothenberg in the UK. It employs 4,700 people in 150 offices across seven countries.
