Eight Road leads $20m round for OTA Insight

F-Prime Capital Partners and other existing investors also took part in the round, which will fund product development with a particular focus on machine learning and AI capabilities.

OTA is also intending to expand its engineering, business development and marketing teams in the coming months.

As part of the deal, Eight Roads partner Michael Treskow will take a seat on the OTA board of directors.

It provides hotels and resorts with real-time details of competitors' rates, ratings and reviews, as well as analysing upcoming market-specific events that will drive demand. Its clients include Carlson Rezidor, Hilton, Accorhotels, Louvre, Choice, Best Western, Kimpton, SBE and NH Hotels.
