
Turn/River injects $40m into Netsparker
US-based technology-focused GP Turn/River Capital has provided $40m in growth capital funding to UK web-security scanning software business Netsparker.
The fresh capital will enable Netsparker to invest in product development, marketing activities and geographic expansion.
Turn/River has a track record of investing in the web-security space, having previously backed California-headquartered Sucuri, which was sold to GoDaddy in March 2017.
As part of the deal, the Turn/River operating partner Chase Sorgel, vice-president of operations Alvin Ang and vice-president of investment Joanne Yuan will take a seat on the Netsparker board, according to publicly available documents.
