
BGF invests £8.5m in IFA
BGF has invested £8.5m in aerospace and industrial forger Independent Forgings & Alloys (IFA).
IFA will use the fresh capital to bolster the company's growth and deliver new commercial opportunities. The funding will be used to make the investments necessary to enhance IFA's manufacturing and testing capabilities.
Company
IFA is based in Sheffield and was founded in 2001. The company manufactures components for OEMs and tier-one suppliers within the aerospace, nuclear, power generation, marine and oil & gas sectors. IFA exports to several countries across Asia, Europe and North America, and employs 150 people.
