
Sapphire, YFM, Scale in $20m Matillion series-B
Sapphire Ventures has led a $20m series-B for UK-based software company Matillion.
It was joined by existing investor YFM Equity Partners with Scale Venture Partners also joining as a new investor.
YFM invested through its British Smaller Companies VCT, British Smaller Companies VCT2 and YFM Equity Partners 2015 Co-Investment fund. The fresh capital will be used to ramp up Matillion's sales, marketing, research and development operations.
YFM portfolio director Angela Warner, Sapphire managing director Andreas Weiskam, and Scale partner Andy Vitus will join the board.
Previous funding
YFM backed Matillion with $5m in a series-A in November 2016.

Founded in Manchester in 2011, Matillion is a software company that provides ELT (extract, transform, load) services to cloud data platforms. It has offices in Manchester and New York and has 250 customers across 30 countries.
