Qiming in $12m series-A for LetsGetChecked
Chinese venture capital firm Qiming Venture Partners has taken part in a $12m series-A funding round for Irish and American health test company LetsGetChecked.
Optum Ventures, the corporate venture arm of healthcare and pharmaceutical services group Optum, led the round.
The fresh capital will enable the business to invest in the development of its technology platform and expand its clinical support team.

Founded in 2014 and dual-headquartered in Dublin and New York, LetsGetChecked provides health test kits that enable users to take regulated laboratory tests at home. The platform enables physicians to analyse results remotely and nurses to contact users who receive positive or "out of range" results for support and guidance. LetsGetChecked services focus on lifestyle testing, cancer screening, sexual health testing, and fertility and hormone testing.
