Foresight injects £2.1m into Codeplay
Foresight Group has invested ТЃ2.1m in UK-based computing process optimisation company Codeplay Software.
The fresh capital will enable the business to invest in the development of products related to advanced driver assistance systems and self-driving cars.
Of the total amount invested, £1.05m was drawn from the GP's Foresight Williams Technology EIS Fund, a vehicle managed in collaboration with the engineering and technology division of Formula One team Williams.

Headquartered in Edinburgh and founded in 2002, Codeplay provides software and consultancy for computing process optimisation related to AI integration. Its products include ComputeAorta and ComputeCpp. Codeplay has a headcount of 70.
