
Verdane-backed Lingit buys Claro Software
Verdane Capital's Norwegian portfolio company Lingit has made its first international bolt-on acquisition, buying UK-based Claro Software.
The GP acquired Lingit in April 2017, drawing equity from the SEK 3bn buyout fund Verdane Capital IX. It announced plans for international expansion at the time of the original buyout.
Lingit provides literacy support software for people with dyslexia and other reading and writing difficulties. The company will extend its reach and improve its product offering through the acquisition, according to a statement.
