Aliter's Boston Networks bolts on PEL
Aliter Capital-backed IT group Boston Networks has completed its first bolt-on, acquiring PEL Services, a provider of sound, fire and security equipment.
Aliter used capital from its £92m support-services-focused fund Aliter Capital I to finance the deal.
The bolt-on comes just three months after Aliter announced its buyout of IT specialist Boston Networks. The GP said it is focused on developing a fire, security and IT networking group with national coverage and a diversified blue-chip customer base, and will be on the lookout for further acquisitions.
Company
Established in 1976, London-headquartered PEL is a sound, fire, security and audiovisual firm that provides design, supply, installation and maintenance services. Its customers are typically retail, stadium, commercial, education, healthcare and public sector organisations.
