Eight Roads Ventures invests $20m in Fuse Universal
Eight Roads Ventures has invested $20m in Fuse Universal, a provider of learning technology for the workplace.
The funding will be used to expand the firm geographically, and further develop its technology. It will also boost its charity arm FuseSchool, which delivers free educational content to children. Eight Roads partner Michael Treskow will join the Fuse board.
The deal is Eight Roads' third investment of 2018 following a $28m funding round for data platform Duco (alongside several other investors) and a £40m round for Made.com (with Level Equity and Partech Ventures).
It closed its fund Eight Roads Ventures III in March 2018 on its target of $375m.
Previous funding
Fuse received $10m from Education Growth Partners in a series-A in June 2015.

Launched in 2011 in Shoreditch, London, Fuse's learning platform allows firms to create and share relevant internal and external content among employees. Its customers include Merck, EY, Spotify and Vodafone.
