
HPE Growth backs $50m funding round for PPro
HPE Growth Capital has taken part in a $50m funding round for UK-based cross-border payment platform developer PPro Group.
The round was led by PayPal and also saw participation from Citi Ventures, the corporate venture arm of Citi Group.
The business will look to expand its international client base following the transaction.
The deal is subject to regulatory approval and is scheduled for completion by the end of Q3 2018.

Founded in 2006, London-headquartered PPro develops software that enables merchants to accept non-credit-card payments. It allows them to sell to customers across multiple countries by providing access to whichever alternative payment method is most common in that customers' country.
