
BGF invests £6.4m in Miss Group
BGF has invested £6.4m in Stockholm-headquartered web hosting business Miss Group.
The fresh capital will be used to further scale the business in existing markets and drive international expansion.
Since its launch in 2014, Miss Group has opened offices in Stockholm, Miami and Sofia, and acquired two businesses in the UK and US with support from Manchester-based corporate finance house Sedulo.
BGF has introduced Phil Male, former CEO of UK2 Group, as non-executive chair to advise the company on its buy-and-build strategy. BGF investor Pinesh Mehta will also join the board.

Miss Group was founded in 2014 in Sweden and is now headquartered in Manchester. It provides a range of IT services to SMEs including domain registration, site building, web hosting and email management. It has opened more than 70,000 accounts and has offices in Stockholm, Miami, Sofia and Manchester.
