
Equistone-backed ITG bolts on Connect Group
Equistone Partners Europe-backed marketing consultancy and data analysis business Inspired Thinking Group (ITG) has bolted on tech-focused marketing agency Connect Group.
The transaction comes 10 months after Equistone acquired a majority stake in ITG from Bridgepoint Development Capital.
Connect will continue to operate independently under its current management team.
Unquote understands that Equistone did not provide any fresh capital to support the transaction.
The GP is invested in ITG via its €2bn 2015-vintage fifth fund, according to Unquote Data.

Founded in 1993 and headquartered in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, Connect is a tech-focused marketing agency. It has a headcount of 200 and its clients include Jaguar Land Rover and Birmingham Airport.
Connect generated an operating profit of £1.8m from a turnover of £11.7m in the year ending in May 2017, according to publicly available documents.
