
Albion leads $4m series-A for Phrasee
Albion Capital has led a $4m series-A funding round for London-based marketing technology company Phrasee.
Previous backers Next Fifteen, a digital communications business, and angel syndicate Galvanise Capital also took part in the round.
The company plans to use the funding to fuel its international growth plans, including scaling up its new US operation in San Francisco and the recently announced expansion of its UK team.
Albion Capital partner Emil Gigov will join Phrasee's board following the deal.
Previous funding
Phrasee received around $1m in seed funding from Next Fifteen and Galvanise Capital in July 2016.

Founded in 2015 and based in London, Phrasee is an artificial-intelligence-based marketing language generator. It specialises in producing and optimising marketing copy, email subject lines, notifications, and Facebook and Instagram ads. The company's client base includes Virgin, Domino's, Gumtree, Superdry and The Times.
